Current Version: v0.001.1
(as of 8/15/2023)
Currently Includes all three playable characters in their base state with one early version of a level.
Bug Note: Due to an embarrassing code oversight, a certain easter egg that's only meant to occur if you set your fps to "Ten. :)" will also have a chance to activate if your fps is set to Unlimited. This easter egg has a random chance to occur several seconds after unpausing and will kill your character, so either avoid playing at Unlimited fps or be careful with pausing.
Runecrossed is a 3D action-platformer about dragons going on an adventure through space, aiming to recapture the feeling of old story-driven games of a previous era and intending to eventually become a full-scale game with an involved story and many more areas to explore.
The game features three playable characters, each with their own unique forms of combat and movement:
Atien is an agile swordsman, able to slice through enemies and speedily propel himself through environments, making him the most straightforward of the heroes to control.
Efrix has an indirect style of fighting, centered around utilizing his telescope as a remote-operated turret to hit enemies from unique angles.
Latra may lack wings, but she is a very nimble individual who utilizes her parkour abilities and grappling hook to make dynamic use of the terrain.
